Does Malibu count as a day trip? If so, head for glam Nobu and devour their signature delicious Japanese cuisine with the waves crashing beside you (or the new Soho House Malibu).

Love both – Chateau for a cool and hip dinner in the garden; Sunset Tower/Tower Bar for an old-Hollywood-style glam supper (and Dimitri! – Tower Bar’s famous maître d’).

I like Beverly Hills, though Daniel (my partner) would say Bel Air!

It’s not a secret for LA’ers, but a lot of New Yorkers don’t know about Joan’s on Third. The best take-away food anywhere. Everything is perfect. We go daily when we are there. They have homemade pop tarts!
